Red Oak Slab Coffee Table

A red oak branch has been transformed into a beautiful coffee table for the front porch. The table is finished with a light oak stain and 5 coats of polyurethane (top & bottom) to resist the harsh environment out on the screened in porch.  It’ll have to deal with rain, wind and the extremes of heat & cold we experience in the MS delta.  It’s mounted on a simple painted table base.

The long 54″, skinny 18″ shape of the table fits the space very well.  The front porch has always been a special part of the house and this table will now be the centerpiece of this much used space.
