Wood Shop

The wood shop has been in development since early 2013.  While I’ve always had woodworking equipment scattered about, I’ve only recently endeavored to organize things and design a workflow for woodworking.  I’ve now built 8 tables of different sizes and placed the woodworking equipment on or around those tables, using them as work support or out-feed tables. Material storage being a primary challenge, racks were built on the west wall to hold finished lumber & other miscellaneous materials.  Another big part of organizing the shop was building jigs for the table saw and drill press that allow for safe handling of smaller work pieces while making cuts or drilling.  Using tables and sawhorses to support large work pieces makes working in the shop much safer.
