Looking East from Sandia Crest Trail
We find ourselves on the Sandia Crest Trail often as it’s northern terminus is located a short drive from our house and it provides a beautiful, yet challenging place to get a great workout.

These photos show a recent view from about 1,000 feet above the trailhead with Placer Mountain in the distance, bathing in the filtered, morning sun. The views from this trail never get old.
