The first and third shots are from last week as June gloom transitions into No-Sky July. Here in early July, the sun tries unsuccessfully to break through the persistent summer fog layer on California’s central coast dunes. Contrast with the center shot of Morro bay in winter. The last photo is the Morro rock as it fights to emerge from the fog layer.
